Dunkin’ Donuts to build Distribution center

Kainos Partners, the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee for upstate South Carolina, recently closed on the purchase of 10 acres in ClintonPark Corporate Center on which a new bakery and distribution center will be constructed.   ClintonPark’s location, which allows easy access to all of the Dunkin’ Donuts retail locations in upstate South Carolina, was a key reason Kainos Partners selected this site.  Construction on the 30,000 sq. ft. building is expected to begin in early 2009.

ClintonPark announces sale of 114 acres

ClintonPark Corporate Center recently closed on the sale of 114 acres to a developer who plans to begin site preparation in second quarter 2009 for commercial outparcels, office or industrial development.  The purchaser is cooperating with the City of Clinton, Laurens County and SCDOT in providing right of way for the new frontage road that is planned to connect Hwy. 72 and Hwy. 56.

The SC Certified Site program creates a standard that can be used by companies considering a relocation or expansion to provide assurance that the site they are considering has been evaluated and prepared, and that basic information is available so that time will not be wasted in the development process.  This designation of Phase III provides additional confirmation that ClintonPark Corporate Center is ready for new construction and job creation.
