Koerber LLC
The South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Laurens
County Development Corp. announced Tuesday that Koerber LLC
will locate its first production facility outside of Germany
in Laurens County.
Koerber LLC will invest several million dollars over the
next few years into establishing the plant and growing its
position in the market. In an initial phase, the company will
occupy a 50,000-square-foot facility in the Hunter Industrial
Park in Laurens County.
As a subsidiary of the German-based Koerber GmbH, the
company will focus its experience in the machining of forged,
die-casted, and extruded components. Koerber manufactures
complex machined aluminum parts for tier 1 automotive
suppliers.

Established in May, 2002 Kimura, Inc. started
operations in Laurens, South Carolina in June, 2003.
We are 100% owned by our parent company, Kimura Unity
Co. Ltd. (KUC) based in Nagoya, Japan.
Since 2003, KI has grown to be a major supplier of
steel containers and racks, mainly for the automotive
market and in 2007, we shipped over 17,500 units.
Our facility in Hunter Industrial Park, Laurens SC
is on 12 acres of land and our Manufacturing area is
60,000 sq. ft. with an additional 10,000 sq. ft. of
Offices.
